Mission 6 

The Battle of Ebro 

October 1938 

The Spanish Nationalists carry out a Series of Offensives that push the Spanish Republicans back across the Ebro River. During the 3 1/2 months of fighting, the Legion played a key role in the close Air Support of the Nationalist forces. This included interdicting Republican communications and other logistical targets.  Major targets of the Legion Condor are Army Bridges and Ferries that cross the Ebro River that are utilized by the Republican Forces. By Mid-November, both Armies sustained heavy losses that the Spanish Republicans could not replace. 

Today’s mission: Bombing Raid 

Targets varies Bridges and supply depots. 

Aircraft: 

Team Republican: 4x Polikarpov I-16 Type 10

Team Condor:  2x Ju-87Bs

Team Condor:  2x Bf-109Cs
